Why Choose Dharma?
Hemodialysis was invented in the 1940’s, further developed in the 1950’s, refined in the 1960’s and improved in the 1970’s. Since then, improvements have been few and since 2000 hemodialysis has not been modified to meet a patient’s busy lifestyle.
DHARMA uses disposable interlocking cassettes that were designed to be light in weight and reduce tubing to the blood lines needed to connect the patient to the machine.
DHARMA has been designed with separate dialysate and blood circuits; thereby reducing medical waste to less than what is currently produced in today’s dialysis treatments.
DHARMA utilizes proprietary filters to regenerate the pre-mixed dialysate with the use of a total of less than 1 (one) US gallon of pure water and pre-mixed dialysate solution.
DHARMA is controlled with the most advanced microprocessors and operating system available for medical equipment, which offers unparalleled safety, patient comfort and medical results.
